About Tsantha
I fell in love with the first Shih Tzu I met.
His name was Wally and although I was baby sitter for his family, the children came second to him when I visited their home. It was a long time after that before I was in a position to own my own dog. She was Black and White, and possessed the sweetest nature; she appeared to understand every word spoken to her. After investing plenty of time and effort into her, I realised she was not a show dog and, from there, began the start of my serious showing career.
I was addicted to the “Shih Tzu scene” and became heavily involved in every aspect; breeding, exhibiting, Shih Tzu Clubs at committee level, judging. I’ve had lots of playful and fun times with my dogs, and many show success at open shows, championship shows and breed club shows. These have included Best in Shows and Best Puppy in Shows.
The biggest success I have had was Best Bitch and CC at Crufts in 2004 and Reserve Best Bitch and Reserve CC at Crufts in 2010.
Acknowledgements
I have been fortunate on my Shih Tzu journey to meet people who have given help and advice for which I will always be grateful.
Denys Munford (Denroma)
Thanks for lots of practical advice on kennel management, dog health care and how to breed dogs and raise puppies

Eunice Stephenson (Rosaril)
From Eunice I gained guidance and advice on many aspects of the breed, but particularly on breeding strategies, and programs, taken from a great expanse of knowledge
Susan and David Crossley (Santosha)
Sue and David are the most generous people I have known. They give so much time and effort to the Shih Tzu breed, in so many different ways, as those of us active in the show scene know. They have very generously and patiently led me down this route collecting information fed by their extensive experience and incredible insight into the many finer points of the breed.
Bodil Fossenius (Fossella)
Bodil was a breed purist, a great friend, an asset to the Shih Tzu world. Sadly interaction was not easy because of travel restrictions for dogs between the United Kingdom and Europe.
Successes
Tsantha Luck Be A Lady was a finalist in the Proplan Pup of the Year 2009
